Several volunteers and organizations came together for a very productive day that celebrated our community trees and our State's Bicentennial.

Thank you to all of the Shelbyville Central School 3rd graders who participated in our poster contest.

Thank you to all of the Shelbyville Central School 2nd graders who attended the Kickoff event and helped in planting 30 native trees for the Blue River Memorial Native Tree Walk and 80 seedlings for our community nurseries.

Thank you to Mrs. Witty's SHS AP Environmental Science Students and Mr. Lux's SHS AP Biology students for their participation.  The SHS students were fantastic and were able to complete many needed projects in addition to facilitating the second graders.
