Public Participation
The City of Shelbyville Storm Water Utility strives to not only educate citizens, but also encourage participation in environmental activities. This includes river clean-ups, neighborhood clean-ups, as well as litter control in general.
Boggstown Road Clean-up
Organized by Indiana American Water, on September 30th, IAW, WWTP, and MS4 employees set out to clean up the long-time neglected Boggstown Road. Over 100 bags of trash were removed. Numerous beverage containers and Styrofoam containers were removed from along the road side.
